Thank you for your interest in Legacy Lighthouse Academy.

Choosing the right learning environment for your child is an important decision. Legacy Lighthouse Academy is intentionally small, Christ-centered, low tech, and designed for 5th–8th grade students who need structure, support, strong academics, and a place where they are truly known.

Because we only accept 10 students each year, our admissions process is designed to help both your family and LLA determine whether this is the right fit.

Legacy Lighthouse Academy may be a good fit for families who are looking for:

a small, Christ-centered learning environment
teacher-led instruction in core academic subjects
support in math, reading, and writing
guided home learning with clear expectations
a literature-rich, Charlotte Mason–inspired approach
a place where their 5th–8th grader can rebuild confidence and grow as a capable learner

LLA is not designed to be a traditional full-time school, a drop-off co-op, or subject-specific tutoring. It is a small learning program that partners with parents to provide structure, instruction, accountability, and encouragement.

Admission Process

1. Review the Website
and Apply

Start by reviewing the website, including the Home, Academics, About, and Admissions pages. These pages will help you understand our mission, academic approach, schedule, and expectations.

You are also encouraged to review the family handbook for more detailed information about how LLA works.

2. Set up a meeting

The next step is to meet with Amy, ask questions, and talk through your child’s needs, your family’s goals, and whether LLA is the right fit.

This conversation is an important part of the process because LLA is intentionally small and relational. We want each family to understand the program clearly before moving forward.

3. Apply

After learning more about LLA, families may complete the application. A nonrefundable $35 application fee is collected when the application is submitted.

Submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment. Because space is limited, each application is reviewed to make sure LLA is a good fit for the student and family.

4. Complete enrollment

If accepted, families will complete enrollment forms and pay the nonrefundable $100 enrollment fee.

Once enrollment is complete, your child’s place is secured.

4. Prepare for the year

Before the year begins, families will receive information about books, supplies, schedules, and expectations so students are ready to begin the year with confidence

Fees

Core Days

$3,600 per year
Includes 2 days per week of core academic instruction.

Enrichment Day

$1,800 per year
Includes 1 additional day per week focused on enrichment, creativity, and extended learning opportunities.

Tuition is divided into 9 equal payments, paid September through May. Payments are due on the 5th of each month.

Additional fees

Application fee: $35 per family, nonrefundable, due when the application is submitted.
Enrollment fee: $100 for a single student and $150 per family, nonrefundable, due after acceptance when enrollment is completed.
Books and supplies: Families are responsible for purchasing required books and supplies before the school year begins.
