Legacy Lighthouse Academy

A Christian-based hybrid school inspired by Charlotte Mason.

Have you longed for a community and space where your child can find joy in learning?

You’re not alone. Many homeschooling families desire more than strong academics—they long for a place where their children are known, encouraged, and rooted in faith. That’s why LLA was created. We recognized this need and intentionally designed a Christ-centered learning environment that enhances the homeschooling experience. With small class sizes, each child receives meaningful one-on-one attention from caring teachers, while still enjoying the blessing of a supportive community. At LLA, faith is woven into daily learning, friendships are nurtured, and children are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and joyfully in the Lord.

Does the thought of educating your child on your own overwhelm you? Do you need to work, but still feel called to homeschool?

You don’t have to walk this journey alone. At LLA, our Christ-centered hybrid program provides the support and flexibility families need, allowing you to select a schedule that fits your life while ensuring your child thrives academically and spiritually.

What if I’m not confident teaching certain subjects?

You don’t have to do it all. LLA partners with parents by providing knowledgeable teachers who guide students academically, allowing families to focus on discipleship and home life with peace of mind.

About Us

We merge the best of homeschool with the best of private school.  Students fifth through eighth can spend two days on campus with teachers covering most core academic subjects.  They also have the option of attending our enrichment day covering electives, art, music and much more.  Students spend the other days at home with their parents completing the work recommended (or as parent chooses).

Our vision

Legacy Lighthouse Academy envisions students who are anchored in the Lord, who seek wisdom, desire that which is true, beautiful, and good - enabling them to influence their homes and communities righteously.

Portrait of a Graduate

Legacy Lighthouse partners with parents to educate young men and women who strive to:

Love God - “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” - Matthew 22:37

Love Others – Students demonstrate love for others by treating them with respect, caring for the school and environment, and serving their community.

Reason Well –Through a Charlotte Mason education taught in a hybrid model, students develop attention, imagination, and independent thought, equipping them for a lifetime of learning.

Engage Society – Students learn to understand and evaluate culture through a biblical worldview, communicate truth winsomely, and represent Christ well.

Delight in Beauty – Students learn to recognize, appreciate, and love beauty as expressed through art, music, literature, and God’s creation.

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine inspiration for Christian faith and life.

  • God is the Eternal Father.

  • That Jesus Christ is true God and true man. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins, according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

  • That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men; regenerate the believing sinner; and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

  • That man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost; but through our Savior can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

Our Story

Since 2020, God has placed a calling on my heart to help students reach their full potential. What began as a desire to foster a love for learning in my own home led me to homeschool my children and eventually start a tutoring business built on care, patience, and purpose.

As I continued to pray and seek guidance, God revealed a greater vision: creating a nurturing learning center where children feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow. This center was designed for families seeking a Christ-centered environment where students can develop academically while building confidence, character, and a genuine love for learning—surrounded by a like-minded, supportive community.

I am truly blessed to partner with parents in their child’s educational journey. Teaching is not just my profession—it is my calling. I absolutely love being in the classroom and walking alongside students as they discover their strengths and achieve success.
